Nicole C. Geffre is a family law and estate planning attorney serving individuals, small businesses, and families throughout Minnesota. She helps clients create practical estate plans, navigate family law proceedings, and protect what matters most for future generations.

Nicole is a native of Litchfield, Minnesota. She was drawn to the law to help people reach their goals, and serve others with compassion. Family law and estate planning uniquely meet Nicole’s value system by allowing her to help people navigate difficult situations, reduce stress, and make decisions confidently.

Before going to law school at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Nicole worked for small firms in the Twin Cities metro. Nicole received her undergraduate and masters from Hamline University as well. During law school and after bar passage, Nicole worked for Thomson Reuter’s drafting case summaries for online and print legal publications before entering private practice. She has approximately 20 years of total legal experienced, and has practiced as an attorney since 2020.

Nicole practices throughout the state of Minnesota in the areas of family law, Harassment Restraining Orders (HROs), Order for Protection (OFPs), small estate planning, and probate avoidance.

Nicole’s education and background help her walk clients through decision-making processes, anticipate likely court outcomes, and craft negotiated solutions to meet the client's needs. Nicole uses her skills to keep client costs down.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, children, pets, and extended family. She enjoys time spent at her church, camping, and trips to the local library.
